I am a contributor at USA Today’s Happy Ever After blog, and a reviewer at All About Romance and Harlequin Junkie. I post book recommendations here and anything else that strikes my fancy.
I am a Texas girl married to a California boy who now lives on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula with said husband and our teenage son. I used to be an accountant, but you never really stop being an accountant, because someone always needs one. I volunteer and teach spinning when I am not reading, wife-ing and mothering.
I can’t remember the title of the first romance novel I ever read, but I was thirteen and the novel belonged to my friend’s mom. It was about a pirate who captures his lady. I haven’t stopped reading since.
I used to read almost all historical romances, but I started reading more contemporaries when I began reviewing.
Random things about me:
I am addicted to iStock Photo.
I teach spinning, and my best student is 78. He kicks everyone’s butt.
My son is Dyslexic and thinks reading for pleasure is the craziest concept ever.
I spent two weeks in northern India meditating and doing yoga.
I recently quit a twelve year addiction to Diet Coke.
I got a concussion when I was in high school but don’t know exactly how, because I can’t remember what happened. Seriously.
I went to summer camp for fourteen consecutive summers. I still miss it.
